Star NHL Forwards and How They Affect Betting Results
The absolute speed of hockey can sometimes make it hard to pinpoint the top players in the nhl betting consensus but if those players warm up and start scoring points at will, or cool down and have held off the scoresheet, they influence the game at a very tangible way and that subsequently impacts bettors and their gains.
In the past couple of months, there were more than a few examples of the and I’ve recognized a list of players whose hot or cold streaks happen to be leading to good, bad or ugly results for their respective teams.
Johnny HockeyJohnny Gaudreau had a tough start to his year and was forced to miss half of October with a broken finger but that’s all behind him now. The 5’9″ left-winger now has nine points in his past seven games where his team, the Calgary Flames, are undefeated. During that series, the Flames are also 5-2 about the puckline and have moved within striking distance of the Ducks and Oilers in the Pacific Division.
The prior 104th overall draft pick was a catalyst for Calgary’s success ever since he entered the league in 2013 and the road to victory will continue to operate through his and Sean Monahan’s growth.
Nashville Predators’ Best LineScoring a combined 32 points in their past seven games, the line of Victor Arvidsson, Ryan Johansen and Filip Forsberg is the hottest in hockey. Nashville has posted 12 OVERs in its last 13 games and it is the Preds’ first line that bettors need to thank for that trend. Forsberg has become known for his amazing second halves so provided that novels keep assigning Nashville levels of 5.5, you can keep betting the OVER.
The Preds have averaged 4.38 goals scored within the course of their last eight games and during a series of 11 straight OVERs that recently ended, their matches were averaging a total of eight percent contest.
Captain Serious along with the KanerThese men are on absolute fire at this time with 42 combined points because the beginning of February and it has led to the Blackhawks winning 12 of the past 13 matches and all of their past seven. It is arguable that no two forward are more important to a team’s overall success than Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews and this season has just helped confirm that. Earlier in the year, when Captain Serious was in a dry spell, the’Hawks went 4-9 SU in matches where Toews didn’t register a point during a 25-game stretch and 8-4 SU in matches he did. It’s correct he affects the game in many areas aside from the scoresheet but it’s clear the’Hawks are better when Toews creates an impact at the offensive end.
It’s also of note that over the course of their past 13 games, the Blackhawks have submitted 10 OVERs in part as a result of the donations made by Toews and Kane.
Vlad-dad Getting Sad-VladOn the opposite end of the spectrum, we have the Russian sniper Vladimir Tarasenko. He has found the back of the internet just one time in the Blues’ last six games also, coincidentally enough, the Notes are 1-5 SU in these tilts. Tara is St. Louis’ most skilled player by far and if he slacks off, so will the team’s production. This could just be a coincidence but because the Blues dealt Kevin Shattenkirk to the Capitals, Tarasenko has gotten two shots on net in over 37 minutes of ice time. His current five-game pointless streak matches the longest of his career so I expect him to get the boat turned around shortly with the Blues in a tight playoff race. St. Louis has been streaky all season so if you are a believer in tendencies, it might be time to jump on the Notes.
